신안군 임자도 튤립공원 내 테마형 실외정원 계획 = Plan to Create a Theme Garden within the Tulip Park on Imja-do, Shinan-gun

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 전라남도 신안군 임자도 튤립공원 내에 지역의 테마를 활용한 특화된 정원을 조성할 목적으로 진행된 것이다. 신안의 튤립축제는 2008년부터 임자도 대광해수욕장 인근지역에서 개최되어왔으나 행사는 대규모 꽃 식재중심이며, 특정기간에만 이루어진다는 점이 문제점으로 제기되었다. 이에 지역주민 및 방문객들의 다양한 요구에 부합하면서 연중 즐길 수 있는 공간이 될 수 있도록 공원 일부의 리노베이션을 계획·제안했다. 대상지의 디자인 원칙 및 주요 컨셉은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 인근에 매화도로 유명한 조희룡 화백의 미술관이 있으므로 이를 연계하여 상징성을 부여했다. 즉 매화도의 실제 이미지를 가져와 공간디자인의 모티브로 활용했다. 둘째, 기존 수목을 최대한 유지 활용하면서 인접 시설들의 정형적 배치나 식재 패턴 등을 고려한 디자인을 적용했다. 테마정원 구상에서는 조희룡 매화도 길을 주동선으로 계획하였고 기존 홍매화, 소나무, 대나무를 이어주는 송죽매(松竹梅) 체험 포토존을 배치하여 대상공간에 테마를 부여했다. 풍차전망대로 이어지는 녹지에는 홍매화 입체정원을 조성하여 랜드마크 역할을 부각시켰다. 대상지 서측부는 휴게 및 모임을 위한 교류쉼터로 기존 가로수와 잔디밭을 유지하는 방식으로 계획했다. 상호교류의 의미가 담긴 삼각형을 벤치, 녹지, 포장 패턴에 도입하여 협소한 공간을 최대한 넓게 활용할 수 있도록 디자인하였다. 본 조성 계획을 통해 튤립축제, 매화정원, 조희룡 미술관, 임자해수욕장, 치유의 숲 등을 찾는 방문객 및 주민 모두에게 지역의 특화된 이미지 부각과 공간의 효율적 이용이 가능한 테마정원 조성 계획안이 마련되었다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study was conducted with the purpose of creating a specialized garden utilizing local themes within the Tulip park on Imjado, Shinan-gun, Jeollanam-do. The Tulip festival has been held near Daegwang beach in Imja island since 2008. However, problems have been raised about the fact that the festival is centered around large-scale flower planting and that it only takes place during specific periods. Accordingly, we proposed a plan to renovate part of the park to meet the diverse needs of local residents and visitors and create a space that can be enjoyed all year round. The design principles and main concepts of the target site are as follows. First, since there is an art museum by artist Cho Heeryong, famous for his plum blossom painting, nearby, symbolism that can be linked was given. In other words, we took the actual image of the plum blossom painting and used it as a motif for space design. Second, while maintaining and utilizing existing trees as much as possible, a design was applied that took into account the formal layout and planting patterns of adjacent facilities. Cho Heeryong's plum blossom painting path was planned as the main circulation line in the theme garden concept. A theme was given to the target space by placing a photo zone for experiencing pine trees and plum blossoms, connecting the existing red plum blossoms, pine trees and bamboo trees. In the green area leading to the windmill observatory, a three-dimensional red plum blossom garden was created to highlight its role as a landmark. The western part of the site was planned as an exchange rest area for rest and gatherings, maintaining the existing street trees and lawn. Triangles with the meaning of mutual exchange were introduced into benches, green space, and pavement patterns, and were designed to utilize the narrow space as widely as possible. Through this development plan, a theme garden creation plan was prepared to highlight the region's specialized image and enable efficient use of space for both visitors and residents visiting the Tulip festival, Plum garden, Cho Heeryong Art museum, Imja beach, and Healing forest.
