사회참여가 민주주의 인식에 미치는 영향에 대한 한,중 비교연구 －사회신뢰 매개를 중심으로－ = Comparative Analysis between Korea and China on the Causal Structure of Social Participation and Democracy Awareness

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study is to investigate the causal structure of social participation and democracy awareness with a focus on mediation effects of social trust between Korea and China. To do this, a set of hypothesis concerning the relationships among socioeconomics, social participation, social trust and democracy are set forth and subjected to an empirical assessment by using data set collected from world values survey association. Analysis of data in terms of ML(maximum likelihood) procedure in AMOS was used and the results were the followings. First, the unit effects of trust in personal, socioeconomics status and age on awareness of democracy were significant to Korea. Second, the unit effects of trust in personal, trust in public and socioeconomics status on awareness of democracy were significant to China. Third, theoretical and empirical implication from this study are discussed with differences of mean, discriminant-convergent validity and causation, mediating effect of relationships among social participation, social trust and socioeconomics status in Korea and China. In addition, this study are raised with advertising a few limitation and developmental proposal.
