The purpose of this study was to examine the differences in voice-related lifestyle habits and acoustic analysis characteristics between college students majoring in K-POP and musical. The thirty subjects 30(15 K-POP majors and 15 musical theater majors) participated in this study. A questionnaire was used to examine the
voice-related lifestyle habits of college students majoring in K-POP and musical. MDVP(Multi-Dimensional Voice Program, Kay Elemetrics Corp, NJ, USA) and
ADSV(the Analysis of Dysphonic Speech and Voice, KayPENTAX, Montvale, NJ) were used to examine the acoustic characteristics. The analyzed parameters
were F0(Hz), Jitter(%), Shimmer(%), NHR, CPP(dB), L/H ratio(dB), and CSID. The results of voice-related lifestyle habits, there was a significant difference
between the two majors in average sleep time and dance practice time(p<.05) . There was no significant difference between the two majors in F0(Hz),
Jitter(%), Shimmer(%), and NHR (p>.05). For CPP (dB), L/H ratio (dB), and CSID, there were significant differences between the two majors in L/H ratio
(dB) and CSID, except for CPP (dB) (p>.05). In conclusion, since both K-POP and musical majors' voice-related lifestyle habits are irregular, it is thought that a curriculum for voice care and training should be organized and voice hygiene education should be provide
