This paper aims to analyze the content elements, grade-specific goals, and achievement standards of Korean literature education as a foreign language presented in the Korean Standard Curriculum, and to suggest a plan for organizing integrated language-culture-literature Korean literature education content centered on modern Korean poetry. First, the literature education- related elements reflected in the Korean Standard Curriculum were analyzed, and in Chapter 3, Ahn Do-hyun’s “I Ask You” was selected as a text for Korean literature education as a foreign language based on the nature and direction of the Korean Standard Curriculum. The reason for this is that the “volume and level” and “literary expression” of “I Ask You” meet the “text selection criteria” of the “reading section” of the Korean Standard Curriculum, and it is possible to organize integrated language-culture-literature education content. In Chapter 4, the educational content of “I Ask You” was designed in an integrated manner in the areas of language, culture, and literature based on the goals and achievement standards of “Reading Area Levels 4-6” of the “Standard Korean Language Curriculum.”. Through this, it was confirmed that it is possible to organize content that maximizes Korean language, Korean culture, and Korean literature capabilities of Korean learners even with a short literary work consisting of only three lines.
