The methodology is referred and modified from "he preceding research on physical strength examination"by Kim Choon Ki (1992), "he research on improvement on physical strength examination on students"by Kim Jong Taek, "he analysis on reliability for physical strength test of junior high school students"by Chon Ho Joon (2002). Specifically, the investigation on understanding, participation and satisfaction with the physical strength examination are investigated and researched.
Data was analyzed by statistical package program SPSS 10.0. Besides, Chi-square (x2 ) analysis is used for analyzing the frequency and statistically similarities based on sex (male, female), class and school (junior high and high school). The followings are the result for this research.
A. Understanding of physical strength examination
Only 78% of sample students has more interest than average in understanding the physical strength examination such as students'''' interest, preliminary instruction, reliability on the test. However no specific purpose on physical strength test makes pre and post - education unsatisfactory and proves test methodology has some problem in examining students'''' physical strength.
To examine effectively students'''' physical strength, in conclusion, teachers and students should think of the physical test not as the temporary matter for proceeding to high school and playing a game but as regular exercise for promoting his/her health in their whole life. Measuring problem is needed not only the improvement of operational control for the physical strength examination but also the problems of test system.
B. Participation and interest in physical strength examination
Survey shows 45% of chosen students have "just recognizing" interest in the physical strength test. This response seems to be originated that physical strength test doesn''''t help students proceed to higher school and that physical exercise can''''t be achieved because of state-run academic aptitude test. So, the current physical test system seems that it can''''t draw student''''s interest strongly. Besides, the importance of regular exercise for students'''' whole life should definitely emphasized than ever before.
Finally, with the improvement on the curriculum of physical education class, the purpose and goal should specifically described and that the frequence should be changed. Moreover, to maximize the data of physical strength for students, teachers should utilize the data for individual student for linking the testing agency for the health of adult people. In line with this, we can exploit the data of physical strength examination in the school for the basis of health care program for students'''' lives.
C. Satisfaction with Physical strength test
Generally, 25% of students are not satisfied with physical strength test, while 23.2% of students are satisfied with. In satisfaction, junior high school student more satisfied than high school students. Regarding time for test, education utilization of test results, measurement for students'''' physical strength, frequency and items for students'''' physical strength examination, students at large are satisfied with them. On the contrary, in reliability and validity, 29.7% of students are not satisfied but 19.7% are satisfied with.
The above mentioned conclusion shows "just recognizing" students are more than the students of satisfaction and dissatisfaction, which proves students don''''t have interest in physical strength test itself. In a word, new and effective physical strength examination should be developed definitely.
