      다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

      The purpose of this study is to establish a plan to utilize authentic documents for naval French education. The focus of this study on the development of naval French education contents is different from the that of previous studies that studied the differences between military French and general French. First, this study examines the theoretical background related to the special-purpose French and the authentic documents. We review the basic concept of naval French education based on our understanding of the special-purpose French’s theory. Next, we analyze standards for the development of naval French lessons based on our understanding of the authentic document’s theory. Based on the theoretical review, we suggest the plans to utilize the authentic documents for naval French lessons. These plans minimize the disadvantages and maximize the advantages of authentic documents. We expect these plans to contribute to the development of naval French Education.
