가임기 여성의 사회, 심리적 요인과 구강건강상태 및 치과의료 이용에 따른 구강건강 관련 삶의 질 연구 = A Study of Oral Health-related Quality of Life in Women of Childbearing Age in Terms of Psychosocial Factors, Oral Health Status, and Use of Dental Care Service

국문 초록 (Abstract)

연구목적 : 가임기 여성을 대상으로 인구사회학적 요인, 사회·심리적 요인, 구강건강상태, 치과의료 이용을 포함하는 포괄적인 요인접근법을 통하여 구강건강 관련 삶의 질의 결정요인을 규명함으로써 가임기 여성의 구강건강증진을 위한 계획을 수립하는 등 구강건강증진 사업 및 정책에 필요한 효율적인 자료를 제공하고자 하였다. 연구방법 : 서울 및 경기지역에 위치한 치과병의원을 임의표본추출방법을 통해 13곳을 선정하고, 병원기관장의 승인을 얻은후 2013년 10월 1일부터 10월 18일까지 약 3주 동안 치과병의원에 내원하여 검진 및 치과치료를 받고 있는 현재 임신하지 않은가 임기 여성(만 19세에서 39세까지)을 조사하였으며 486명을 최종 연구대상자로 하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS Program Version 20.0을 이용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과 : 가임기 여성의 구강건강 관련 삶의 질에 영향을 미치는 요인의 경우, 치주질환 진단유무(β=.286, p<.001), 치아 우식증 진단유무(β=.179, p<.01), 본인인지 구강건강상태(β=-.146, p<.001), 사회적지지(β=-.119, p<.01), 연평균 치과치료비(β=.103, p<.001), 치과방문 횟수(β=.081, p<.05)가 구강건강 관련 삶의 질에 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 미치는 결과를 얻었다. 결론 : 본 연구를 통해 구강건강증진사업 계획을 실시함에 있어 가임기 여성의 구강건강수준 증진도모를 위해 구강건강상태, 치과의료 이용, 사회적 지지는 구강건강 관련 삶의 질의 결정요인에 중요한 영향을 미치므로, 종합적인 접근을 통한 지속적인 연구가 활성화 되어야 한다고 볼 수 있다. 또한 자가 구강건강관리의 역량을 강화시킬 수 있는 프로그램이 개발할 수 있도록 적절한 자원배분과 정책적 지원이 뒷받침되어야 할 것이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Objectives : The purpose of this study is to provide efficient information for oral health enhancement businesses and policies such as oral health promotion plan for women of childbearing age by establishing determinants of oral health-related quality of life through comprehensive factor approach including sociodemographic factors, psychosocial factors, oral health status, and the use of dental clinic service for women of childbearing age. Methods : We selected dental clinics located in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do area(7 clinics in Seoul, 6 clinics in Gyeonggi-do) by convenience random sampling and received approval from the clinic directors. We conducted a survey targeting women of childbearing age between 19 and 39 years old who were going to the dental clinic but not pregnant for 3 weeks from October 1, 2013 to October 18, 2013. 486 of surveyed women of childbearing age were finally chosen as study participants. Collected data were analyzed by using SPSS Program Version 20.0. Results : For factors influencing oral health-related quality of life in women of childbearing age, factors such as having periodontal disease(ββ=.286, p<.001), having dental caries(ββ=.179, p<.01), self-recognition for oral health status(ββ=-.146, p<.001), social support(ββ=-.119, p<.01), annual average dental care cost(ββ=.103, p<.001), the number of visits to a dental clinic(ββ=.081, p<.05) had statistically meaningful influence on the life quality related to oral health. Conclusion : From this study, in case of fulfilling health promotion plan, since oral health status, the use of a dental clinic, and social support have important influence on oral health-related quality of life, continuous study through comprehensive approach needs to be promoted. In addition, rational allocation of resources and policy support should be backed up to develop programs for beefing up self dental care ability of women of childbearing age.
