주거공간의 거실벽면과 실내 구성요소와의 연계성에 관한 연구

국문 초록 (Abstract)

오늘날의 우리사회는 급속한 경제성장과 함께 삶의 질도 높아지고 있다. 이에 인간의 생활환경과 가장 밀접하게 자리 잡고 있는 거실공간의 질적 수준도 향상되고 있다. 거실공간은 가족의 단란, 휴식, 오락, 접객의 장소로의 다목적기능을 수행하며, 무엇보다 거주자가 심적·신체적으로 편안하게 머물 수 있는 장소여야만 한다. 최근에는 거주자들의 욕구를 충족시킬 수 있는 다양한 라이프스타일과 개성을 반영한 거주공간이 선호되고 있으며 이에 따라 거실구성 특성이나 실내의 전반적인 이미지에 대한 변화경향을 분석하여 차별화된 실내구성 방향을 계획하여야 한다.
이러한 특성을 파악하여 거주자들의 신체적·정신적 휴식을 느끼도록 해주는 실내 환경구성이 되어야 할 것이며 특히, 거주 공간부분 중에서 공용공간인 거실공간의 벽면 디자인 특성에 대한 파악과 차별화 방안의 모색이 중요하다. 거실공간에서 벽면 디자인은 기능성과 심미성의 기능을 동시에 갖춰야 하며 거주자 개개인의 특성과 개성에 부합된 인간 친화적인 환경을 조성해 주어야 한다. 따라서, 거주자 개개인의 라이프스타일을 고려하여 거주자의 특성에 맞는 실내 공간 조성을 마련해주기 위한 관심과 연구가 지속적으로 필요하다. 거주공간이 이러한 다목적 기능과 역할을 수행하는 삶의 터전의 공간을 넘어 개개인의 미적인 욕구의 표현장소로서의 기능을 충족시키기 위해서는 독창적이고 차별화 된 실내연출이 필요하다. 그러나 현행의 거실공간 디자인은 트랜드와 유행 패턴에만 따라가며 개성과 특성을 고려하지 않은 획일화된 공간을 제공하고 있는 실정이다. 이에 주거 공간 중에서 포인트가 되는 거실공간을 중심으로 벽면 디자인의 차별화 방안을 제시 해 보고자 한다.
본 연구에서는 거실공간이 시각적으로 어떠한 특성을 나타내고 있는지 분석해보고, 시각적 특성과 함께 거실 벽면의 마감재 구성요소인 재료, 색채, 패턴의 분석을 통해 벽면의 차별화 된 표현방법을 제안하고자 한다.

먼저 시각적인 요소로 거실 평면과 천장에서 바라보았을 때의 벽면의 형태, 형태에 따른 벽면의 역할 분석을 관찰자의 시점 방향별로 나누어 살펴보고자 한다. 최근 건설된 브랜드 아파트 중에서 인지도가 높은 40평형대 아파트를 중심으로 사례분석을 하여 거실의 벽면디자인 특성을 파악하고 벽면의 시각적인 요소와 마감재 구성요소의 질서와 조화를 찾고자 한다. 그에 따라 관찰자의 시점방향에서 함께 보여지는 벽면들의 다양한 특성을 고려하여 벽면 디자인의 차별화 방안의 기준이 되는 가이드라인을 제시하고자 하는데 본 논문의 목적을 두고 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Nowadays, the quality of people's lives has been improved due to increased economic growth. Accordingly, the quality of living room space, which is deeply related with the living environment of people, has improved as well. Living room is used for multipurpose so as to provide a source of entertainment, relaxation, and reception. Most importantly, living room must be able to make the dweller feel physically and mentally relaxed. Recently, living room, reflecting the diversified lifestyles and personality which meet the demand of the resident, is preferred and thus it is imperative to create unique interior space in the light of characteristic of living room and the changes of image trends.
It is crucial to construct living room based on these characteristic in order to let the resident feel physically and mentally relaxed. Especially, it is of importance to understand the characteristic of wall design in the living room out of all living spaces and seek ways to differentiate it from other designs. Wall design in living room needs to be equipped with both functionality and aesthetic values. Also, it needs to foster a human-friendly environment with the dweller's personality being present. Therefore, it is crucial to constantly research and pay attention to creating interior space accordingly to the each individual resident's lifestyle.
In order for living room to be used multipurpose and to allow the resident to expressive their personal artistic desire, it is important to create a differentiated space. However, current interior space design only tends to create uniformed design focusing solely on trendy pattern without considering individuality. Thus, this study attempts to suggest alternative designs for living room space which plays a pivotal role in all living spaces.
This study analyzes the visual characteristic of living room space and suggests differentiated designs by analyzing material, color, pattern of finishing materials of living room wall.
First, the study aims to recognize the visual element of living room. The thesis will study the form of wall when viewed from the top, the role of wall according to different forms of wall categorized by different direction of the viewpoint. The study also attempts to recognize the characteristic of wall design by analyzing the case of recently built 132.232m² brand apartment and seeks to find balance and order between visual elements of wall design and elements of the finishing material. The goal of this study is to suggest guideline which will work as the standard of differentiating of wall design considering various characteristic of walls which are different every time according to the viewer's viewpoint.
