This study considers four aspects from the review of early childhood education program in Higher-order Thinking to explore an effective enrichment program for young children. First, the enrichment program`s relation to today`s early childhood education. Second, the content and characteristics of the enrichment program. Third, the possibility of a Higher-order Thinking enrichment program in early childhood education. Fourth, factors which need to be considered for the development of the enrichment program. The results showed that there was a lack of consideration for such an enrichment program for young children, yet judging from the characteristics of child development, such a program could in fact be implemented effectively. Based on these factors, we have explored an enrichment program for higher-order thinking which takes into effect the content and methodology of an early childhood program in higher-order thinking.
