합리성의 구성근거와 교육담론 : 모더니즘과 포스트모더니즘 = Constructive Premises of Rationality and Educational Discourse : Modernism and Postmodernism

While modernism puts emphasis on the decontextual structure and formal logics as criteria for the construction of rationality, postmodernism puts emphasis on the social context and historicity as criteria for the construction of reasonableness. So the former may be based on the scientific objectivism and a priori universalism. The latter accepts the many forms of life, language games and discourses. Postmodern reconceptualization of rationality, not unitary rationality of modernism, is derived from construction of reality and different systems of discourses. Education based on the modern rationality demands that schools should organize and transmit the objective forms of knowledge and concept of rational autonomy. The conceptions of postmodern education strongly ask to consider the contextuality and practicality in various social reality and language games. They emphasize the situatedness of knowledge, deconstruction of self, signification of difference and linguistic construction in educational discourse.
