This paper aims to gauge the realistic goal of the Trump Middle East Peace Plan by comparing and analyzing it with the Oslo Agreement and Road Map. This paper analyzes and utilizes data of various perspectives from public institutions, research institutes, and newspapers based in the United States, the United Nations, Israel, Palestine, the United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Turkey, Egypt, Morocco, and France. This paper analyzed Trump's Middle East peace plan and Israeli, Palestinian, Arab States's responses to it. In particular, this paper identifies Israel's strategy of dividing Palestinians and the Middle East by analyzing different policies of Saudi Arabia and Qatar for Hamas, which Trump's peace plan identified as a terrorist to threat Israel's security. This paper argues that the goal of the Trump Middle East peace plan is to deprive Palestinians of territorial sovereignty and strengthen Israel's regional influence. -I’m not sure why this abstract is divided into 4 paragraphs, but for some reason I can’t change it. 국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 논문은 트럼프 행정부가 제시한 중동평화안을 오슬로 협정 및 로드맵과 비교 분석함으로써, 트럼프 중동평화안의 현실적인 목표를 가늠해 보기 위한 것이다. 본 논문은 미국, 유엔, 이스라엘, 팔레스타인, 영국, 사우디아라비아, 카타르, 터키, 이집트, 모로코, 프랑스 소재 공공 기관, 연구소, 신문들에서 나온 다양한 시각의 자료들을 분석 활용하였다. 본 논문은 트럼프의 중동 평화안, ‘번영을 위한 평화: 팔레스타인인들과 이스라엘인들의 삶을 개선하기 위한 비전’과 트럼프 평화안에 대한 이스라엘, 팔레스타인, 아랍국가들의 대응을 분석하였다. 특히 본 논문은 트럼프의 평화안이 이스라엘의 안보를 위협하는 테러 단체로 명시한 하마스에 대한 사우디와 카타르의 서로 다른 정책을 분석함으로써, 이스라엘의 팔레스타인 및 중동 분할 통치 전략을 밝혀낸다. 트럼프 중동 평화안의 목표는 팔레스타인의 영토 주권을 박탈하고, 이스라엘의 역내 영향력을 강화하기 위한 것이다.
