수출 제조기업의 역량이 수출성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This paper examines the effects of manufacturing firms capabilities on global performance. In particular, it focuses on identifying the role of R&D capabilities in this relationship because the role of R&D has been different with the results of the researches. As for the research method, 8 firm capabilities were derived from the precedent studies. The empirical analysis was conducted in two stage. First, multiple regression analysis was made on the relationship between firm capabilities and global performance. Second, the interaction effect between R&D capabilities and other capabilities was analysed.
As a result, it was found that marketing competence, product differentiation capabilities, human capabilities and financial capabilities have positive effects on the global performance of firms. The results of these analyzes are consistent with those found in previous studies. However, in the case of entrepreneurship, multiple regression analysis showed that the effect of entrepreneurship on firms global performance was not statistically significant. It is interpreted that in the firms on the growth stages, the role of entrepreneurship is not relatively important, while the role of entrepreneurship is critical in start-up firms. On the other hand, the interaction effects of R&D capabilities and entrepreneurship on global performance were identified.
