The Sumgin river downstream bed change predicted using HEC-6 model.
Input variables of model are rivers section, river bed material and hydrological data etc. The results that get in this paper is summarized as following. The river's bed aggregate picking that the Sumgin river downstream bed decline is excessive rather than change cause of the hydrological data is the principal factor.
The results that analyze river's bed fluctuation, erosion or accumulation of the 0 ~5 km sections does not happen from the mouth of a river, the 5 km~15.08 km sections are section that accumulation happens mainly, the 16.1 km ~ 19.03 km sections are section that erosion occurs main1y and accumulation of the 19.98 km ~ 25.08 km sections happens. The Sumjin river downstream bed is judged to get restored by equilibration of original if disallow more aggregate picking.
