The paper analyzes the relative importance of export policy guidelines and relevant supporting programs to provide basic information useful to decisionmaking on export support policies. Based on the survey of 107 exporting firms and 76 experts in agro-food export, the AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) is employed (AHP) to derive the highest priority among the indicators and programs. With respect to policy indicator, the policy-effectiveness, implying possibility of achieving policy goal, is shown to be most important. Exporting firms put emphasis on i) controls for quality and safety in exporting agro-food and ii) management of sorting and merchandising. Meanwhile, experts in this field, place the highest value on the supporting program for overseas sales and marketing.
