Recently, automakers are making various efforts to maintain durable quality until vehicles are scrapped after shipment. A number of reliability tests have been conducted since the vehicle development stage, also vehicle window regulator is installed inside the car door to satisfy various reliability tests such as environmental tests (high temperature / high humidity/low temperature), vibration tests, water resistance tests, and corrosion resistance tests. This study compares the corrosion effect of sodium chloride (Nacl) currently used in reliability tests with calcium chloride (CaCl₂) mainly used in winter snow removal to check the corrosion effect of window regulator according to salt water type.
