베트남 국적 체류외국인의 한국생활 요구도와 우선순위 분석 연구 = A Study on the Needs and Priority Analysis of Vietnamese Foreign Residents in South Korea

Purpose This study examines the needs of Vietnamese foreign residents in South Korea, focusing on employment, transportation, and daily services. Using Borich’s Needs Assessment and The Locus for Focus Model, the study identifies key priorities to improve their living conditions.
Methods A survey was conducted among Vietnamese residents to assess the current and required service levels in employment, marketplace, store, and transportation services. Borich’s model measured service gaps, while The Locus for Focus Model visualized priority areas.
Results Transportation services, particularly intercity bus reservations and payments, emerged as the most urgent area for improvement. Mobile payment services and employment information systems also required significant enhancements to better support Vietnamese residents' daily lives.
Conclusion The findings suggest targeted policy interventions are necessary to improve key services for Vietnamese foreign residents. Prioritizing enhancements in public transportation accessibility, mobile payment options, and employment information systems could significantly improve their quality of life and social integration in South Korea.
