초등 도덕 교과에서의 희망 성향 함양 방안

국문 초록 (Abstract)

인생 설계, 진로 설정, 학업 성공, 우정 형성, 정체성 탐색 등의 중요한 발달 과업 실현 과 정에서 학생들이 직면하는 좌절과 스트레스에 능동적ㆍ적극적으로 대처하는 가운데 삶의 의 미와 목적을 현실적ㆍ효과적으로 추구함에 있어서, 희망은 학생들이 반드시 지녀야 할 대표 적인 성품 강점이자 발달 자산이다. 그렇다면 도덕 수업을 통해 우리가 학생들의 희망 성향을 함양하기 위한 효과적인 방법은 무엇인가? 이에 이 논문에서는 초등 도덕 교과 수업에서 학 생들의 희망 성향을 함양하기 위한 효과적인 풍토 조성 및 교수 전략의 적용 방법을 제시하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Hope is the ability to perceive positive futures. Research has shown that a child's high hopeful disposition is positively associated with perceived competence and self-esteem or self-worth, and negatively associated with symptoms of depression. Thus, hope is not only character strength but also developmental asset for children to become a responsible moral agent. Helping students become more hopeful is rewarding for the students, teachers, and other caring adults. In this article, we proposed effective teaching strategies for cultivating hopeful disposition in the elementary moral education. Effective teaching strategies for cultivating hopeful disposition consist of fostering secure attachment, scaffolding for goal orientation, utilizing hope narrative, capitalizing on hope buddy project, and giving opportunities for counterfactual thinking.
