This study suggests the intervention strategy for social welfare organization to have effective organizational achievements in social welfare facilities. Specifically, the aim of the study is to provide the policy in the social welfare facilities and the efficient information necessary to develop the program.
We analyzed the structural relationships among emotional leadership, empowerment, and organizational commitment based on a 41-item questionnaire composed of a total of 4 areas - motional leadership 18 questions, empowerment 12 questions, organizational commitment 4 questions, general features 7 questions - completed by 327 social workers in Daegu. The result shows that there is the relationship between emotions in individuals and competence. Also, emotions in relationship are slightly significant to factors such as meaning, competence, and organizational commitment. Meaning and impact have an influence on organizational commitment. We also confirmed that emotional leadership has an indirect impact on organizational commitment through empowerment.
In the view of the previous studies that empowerment is required to provide various services, the data gives indication that it is crucial that emotional leadership has an important role in improving the achievement of organization.
