C. S. Lewis was a well-known British imaginative writer and Christian apologist. This study aims to introduce Lewis’life and his activities as an educator, which had not been noted before, and to expand the horizon of the research on Lewis. To realize this, we first explored the life of Lewis who taught at universities and provided individual guidance under the theme of “Lewis as a professor.” We also explored the life of Lewis who spoke to the British people and offered his insight about war, spirituality, and life itself. Moreover, as we examined Lewis who taught through ‘writing,’ we discovered that Lewis conveyed wisdom through letters and added depth to his studies by sharing his written ideas with colleagues at the meetings of the Inklings. Finally, we explored the life of Lewis as an educator and what meanings and implications it has for our education.
