초등교사의 영어 교육 전문성 향상 방안 = Professional Development in English Education as an Elementary School Teacher

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of the present study is to improve the elementary school teachers' professionality in English education. Professional development in English education as an elementary school teacher is to know, first of all, what the 7th National English Curriculum has required until now and to get a practical direction to perform the English Curriculum. So, this study examined the 7th Elementary English Curriculum as a main research materials for teacher's professional development. Elementary school teachers should recognize how to teach English for their students and how to help them learn the English language for their 4 skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. For this , they should know what the Curriculum requires. In a short, in EFL environment, it is strongly recommended that an elementary school teacher teach English through English to achieve the ultimate goal of developing learner's communicative competence in elementary English education.
