김억의 『鮮訳 愛国百人一首』 연구 = A study of Kim Ok's One Hundred Patriotic Poems in Korean translation

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This paper brought new facts as follows getting valuable help from the last studies. First, two kinds of books were published under the title of One Hundred Patriotic Poems in Korean translation during Japan's last aggressive war, and the public edition by 'Committee Patriotic' became the transcript of Kim Ok's One Hundred Patriotic Poems in Korean translation. Second, it was not Kim Ok, the translator of One Hundred Patriotic Poems, but Inoue who selected it as the transcript of One Hundred Patriotic Poems in Korean translation. Third, the exhibition of One Hundred Patriotic Poems in Korean translation had been held at Jung-Ja-Ok department store from January 9 to 17, 1943. Fourth, several months before the distribution of Kim Ok's One Hundred Patriotic Poems, Ham Byung-Up published One Hundred Patriotic Poems in Korean translation in Japanese which was the national language at that time. Kim Ok, with a strategy of 'paginal translation'(making a direct translation of the original text page by page), he can have Korean readers who not only have acquired the Japanese language but also do not even know the Japanese language.
