주요 산업구조물 내진설계기준의 현황 분석 = Review of the present seismic design criteria of the major industrial structures

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of the paper, considering the recent increasing trend of large earthquakes occurred in the world
and their damage, is to re-establishment of the seismic design criteria based on the Industrial Safety and Health
Law, to protect the facilities and equipment from earthquake, and to develop a standard that can prevent from
industrial accidents at a reasonable level. Collection and review of the seismic requirements of the industrial
structures and the seismic design practise of the structures in the developed countries are performed. Besides,
collecting opinions through a couple of technical meetings with the relative user groups like certification
/inspection agencies, manufacturing companies, engineers in structural engineering, etc. As a result, unified
control of the national seismic requirements by a single concentrated administration is proposed for a consistent
and efficient seismic design between the major industrial structures.
