삶의 의미와 정신적 안녕감의 관계에서 회복탄력성과 문제중심 대처의 매개효과: 외상 경험 집단을 대상으로 = The mediating effects of resilience and problem-focused coping in the relationship between meaning in life and mental well-being in trauma-experienced groups

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to identify the effect of meaning in life on mental well-being, including resilience and problem-focused coping, in trauma-experienced groups. For this purpose, a self-report online survey was conducted to adults over the age of 19 and 442 data were used for analysis. As the analysis of the structural equation modeling, meaning in life did not directly predict mental well-being, but it effected mental well-being through resilience and problem-focused coping. In addition, the bootstrapping method showed the dual-mediated effect of resilience and problem-focused coping in the relationship between the meaning in life and mental well-being. The results of this study has implication in that it provided a new perspective in considering intervention methods to improve the adaptation and well-being of trauma-experienced groups in the clinical area.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 외상 경험 집단을 대상으로, 삶의 의미가 정신적 안녕감에 영향을 미치는 기제를 회복탄력성과문제중심 대처의 매개효과를 포함하여 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 만 19세 이상의 일반 성인들과 서울소재의 원격대학교 학생들을 대상으로 외상 경험 질문지, 삶의 의미 척도, 회복탄력성 척도, 문제중심 대처척도, 정신적 안녕감 척도를 사용하여 자기보고식 온라인 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 총 442명의 자료를 분석하였다. 구조방정식 모형 분석 결과, 삶의 의미가 정신적 안녕감으로 향하는 직접 경로는 유의하지 않았으나, 삶의 의미와 정신적 안녕감의 관계에서 회복탄력성과 문제중심 대처 각각의 단순매개효과와 이들의이중매개효과가 모두 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과는 임상 장면에서 외상 경험 집단의 적응 및안녕감을 향상시키기 위한 개입을 고려하는데 있어 새로운 시각을 제공했다는 점에서 의의를 지닌다.
