「노인맞춤돌봄서비스」 전담사회복지사의 경험을 통해 살펴본 에이징 인 플레이스 지원 사례관리의 어려움과 딜레마 = Difficulties and Dilemmas of Supporting Aging in Place based on Experiences of Social Workers affiliated with 「Individualized Support Service for Older Adults」

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

As the need for social care continues to increase along with the rapid aging, 「Individualized Support Service for Older Adults」 has emerged as the care project that supports aging in place for the elderly. The purpose of this study was to explore what difficulties and dilemmas social workers in charge of 「Individualized Support Service for Older Adults」 have been experiencing while case managing, and to propose methods of supporting case management work. The contents of the supervision request submitted by 96 social workers were analyzed by the thematic analysis method. Findings of this study presented the context and content of the difficulties and dilemmas of social workers at the forefront of the care project aimed at helping the vulnerable elderly age in place. Based on the results of this study, the direction and contents of aging in place support were indicated. The necessity of reorganizing the nature and goals of case management and re-establishing the roles of service users as well as providers were proposed. And, the education and training plans to strengthen the competence of social workers were also proposed.
