Especially, 『Komunbakson-100 selected classics』, 3 parts and 7 books, is consisted of 101 ancient writings of 38 writers from 秦漢 to 南宋 and it contains the comments of Kim Seok-ju himself and references. It is published with a view to correcting some problems caused by 『古文眞寶』 and 『文章軌範』.
The selection of the writings is made on the basis of the following criteria ; One is a content and the other is a form. The former is about the way that the expression correspond with the theme and subject, and the latter is about the way that the change is expressed in making sentence. 『Komunbakson-100 selected classics』, seemed to be very popular up to be translated in Korean, and it affected the publication of 『唐宋八家百選』.
