발반사마사지가 노인의 뇌파에 미치는 영향 = The Effect of Foot Reflex-Massage on Brain waves of The Elderly.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of foot reflex-massage on the physiological index and function in elderly people through one-group pre-post test design.
The subjects in this study were 29 elderly people who used senior center located in Daejeon. Each individuals in the test received the foot reflex-massage for an hour each time, 3 times a week, totally 10 sessions. Each individuals physiological index, and self-reported questions were tested before and after sessions. The selected dependent variables were, carotid artery velocity, Brain waves, which were all measured before and after foot reflex-massage was offered.
The data was analyzed using SPSS WIN 12.0 program. chi-test and t-test was used for general factors, paired t-test for analysis of the outcome measures. The level of statistical significance was set at 0.05.
The findings of the study was as follows: Changes of the Physiological index 1. No significant changes were observed in Temperature, but systolic․diastolic of the Blood pressure and Purse rates showed decrease(p<0.01).
2. Carotid artery velocity by ECG showed increase in the right systolic․diastolic velocity and left diastolic velocity(p<0.05). Parasympathetic nerves activated by the decrease of the Norm LF and the increase of the Norm HF in Autonomic nerves system(p<0.05).
3. Absolute Brain waves by EEG showed decrease relativistic-θ, relativistic-α, relativistic-β, relativistic-γ in order. Relativistic Brain waves by EEG r anged the same as Absolute Brain waves but relativistic-α showed increase relatively. EEG depression index A1, A2 showed increase in Temporal Lobe(p<0.01).

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 노인을 대상으로 남자 12명, 여자 17명 총 29명에게 발반사마사지를 시술하여 생리적 지수 즉, 체온, 혈압, 맥박수, 경동맥혈류속도, 자율신경계, 혈액 및 생화학적 검사와 뇌파로 분류하여 측정하였으며 발반사마사지 전․후의 변화를 파악하였다. 반사마사지 전․후 체온의 변화는 없었으나, 수축기와 이완기의 평균혈압 및 평균맥박수도 감소하였고(p<0.01), 경동맥혈류속도는 증가하였고(p<0.05), 자율신경계에서는 부교감신경의 활성수치가 증가하였다(p<0.05). 혈액․생화학적 검사에서는 백혈구의 수만이 감소하였다(p<0.01). 뇌파를 측정한 결과 절대뇌파는 쎄타파, 알파파, 베타파, 감마파의 순으로 감소하였다. 상대뇌파도 절대뇌파와 같은 분포가 나타났으나 알파파가 상대적으로 증가하였다. 뇌파의 SEF 50%값이 증가하여 뇌파의 활성도는 증가하였다. 우울지수인 A1, A2의 비대칭지표는 전 영역에서 증가하여 우울수준이 호전된 것으로 나타났으며, 특히 관자엽에서 유의하게 증가하였다(p<0.01).
이상의 연구결과를 볼 때 발반사마사지는 노인의 생리적 지수를 활성화시켜 혈액순환을 증진시키고 뇌파의 안정화에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.
