The Q-teachnique was used in order to study the development expectations to-
ward motor-handicapped students.
The subjects were Korean Graduate Student (22) and Japanease Graduate Stu-
dent(20).
Subjects were askeds to sort the Q-cards on nine-rang normal scale, whice
contained 60 developmental expectations toward the students.
The results were as follows :
1)Developmental expectations of Japanease Graduate Studert toward the elmentary
classes of mildly handicapped children were concerning " development
of communication abilites and development of human relationship".
Expectations of Korean teachers were concerning "happiness and development
of selfhelp".
2) Developmental expectations of Japanease Graduate Student toward the elme-
ntary classes of severely handicapped children were concerning "happiness".
Expectations of Korean teachers were concerning "development of communi-
cation abilities and special education".
3) Developmental expectations of Japanease Graduate Student toward the senior
high classes of mildly handicapped children were concerning "vocational independence
and education in ordinary high school".
Expectations of Korean teachers were concerning "vocational independence".
4) Developmental expectations of Japanease Graduate Studert toward the senior
high classes of severely handicapped children were concerning "happiness"
Expectation of Korean teachers were concerning "apecial education".
