중국 취업모의 후속 출산 의도에 미치는 변인 분석 = Analysis of factors influencing second fertility intentions of Chinese working mothers

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 중국 취업모의 후속 출산 의도에 미치는 변인들의 영향은 어떠한지를 알아보는 데목적이 있다. 이를 위해 본 연구는 중국 J성에 거주하며, 소반에 다니고 있는 자녀를 둔 취업모345명을 대상으로 하였다. 자료분석을 위해 SPSS 26.0 프로그램을 이용하여 기술통계분석, 카이제곱 검증과 로지스틱 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 한 자녀를 둔중국 취업모 중 후속 출산 의도가 없다고 응답한 집단에 비해 후속 출산 의도가 있는 집단의 비율이 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 중국 취업모의 후속 출산 의도 여부에 따른 집단 간 차이는 남편의 근무유형에서 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 끝으로, 중국 취업모의 후속 출산 의도에 영향을 미치는 변인을 알아보기 위해 로지스틱 회귀분석을 실시한 결과, 취업모의 사회인구학적 변인은 후속 출산 의도에 영향을 미치지 않는 반면 남편의 양육 참여와 조부모의 양육 참여가 취업모의 후속 출산 의도에 영향을 미치는 것을 확인하였다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the factors influencing second fertility intentions among Chinese working mothers. For this purpose, data was collected from 345 working mothers residing in the J province of China, all of whom had one child. Analysis was conducted using the SPSS 26.0 program. employing descriptive statistical analysis, Chi-square test and logistic regression analysis. The results are as follows. Firstly, it was observed that the proportion of working mothers expressing an intention for a second child was higher compared to those who indicated no such intention after having one child. Secondly, significant differences in working mothers’ second fertility intentions were identified concerning their husbands’ work status. Third, this study utilized logistic regression analysis to ascertain the variables affecting the second fertility intentions of Chinese working mothers. The analysis found that participation of grandparents’ in child-rearing and the involvement of husbands in child-rearing significantly affected the second fertility intention of Chinese working mothers, whereas sociodemographic characteristics of working mothers and their family members did not affect the mothers’ second fertility intention. These findings provide information in regard to the factors influencing fertility decisions among working mothers.
