스키동호회 신입회원의 겨울나기:그들의 사회화과정에 대한 문화기술적 연구 = The First Winter Season at a Ski-club:An Ethnographic Study on the Socialization Process of Novice Skiers

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to discuss the socialization process of novice skiers. In so doing, an ethnographic study methodology is applied. The data was collected by participant observation, in-depth interview among them and documents. The collected data was analyzed by the method of an ethnographic study in Spradley(1980).
Socialization process is accomplished by five stages like preliminary, beginning, conflict, adaptation and growth period.
The first, preliminary period is the first stage about the socialization process of novice skiers. In this period, novice skiers prepare to official club activity.
The second, beginning period is the second stage about the socialization process of novice skiers. Novice skiers begin the official club participation and activity during the beginning period.
The third, conflict period is the third stage about the socialization process of novice skiers. Novice skiers show various and complex conflicts participating in ski-club activity.
The forth, adaptation period is the fourth stage about the socialization process of novice skiers. Novice skiers overcome various conflicts and assimilate as ski-club's member in adaptation period.
Finally, growth period is the fifth stage about the socialization process of novice skiers. In growth period, Skiers become complete member of the ski-club through preliminary, beginning, conflict and adaptation period.
