This study investigated the sequential mediating effects of self-differentiation and self-worth with children in the relationship between anxiety attachment and parenting anxiety of mothers with school-age children. The survey was conducted on 400 mothers raising children aged 7 to 15 and consisted of anxiety attachment, parenting anxiety, self-differentiation, and self-worth with children. The data were analyzed using SPSS 27 and SPSS Macro version 4, and the results of the study are as follows. First, self-differentiation was partially mediated in the relationship between anxiety attachment and parenting anxiety. Second, in the relationship between anxiety attachment and parenting anxiety, self-worth with children was partially mediated. Third, in the relationship between anxiety attachment and parenting anxiety, self-differentiation and self-worth with children showed sequential mediating effects. Based on the above results, the implications and limitations of this study were discussed.
