The Company and government are strengthening budget support and technology development for the supply of electric two-wheeled vehicles, while at the same time expanding battery exchange stations. Electric two-wheeled vehicles have limitations on the mileage depending on the battery capacity and condition, and this can be solved by charging the battery or replacing the battery. Electric motorcycle OEMs, battery station operators, delivery or shared platform companies, etc. must provide services such as optimal performance through battery tracking management, maintenance/repair, theft detection or damage prevention for drivers, and introduce battery authentication for this purpose. In this paper, we developed an NFC-based battery authentication system for an electric two-wheeled vehicle, made an operation scenario for battery authentication according to the NFC communication mode, and designed and implemented a battery authentication algorithm model. In addition, the authentication algorithm was verified in the actual test bed and vehicle environment, and after successful battery authentication and user authentication, it was confirmed that the vehicle is normally controlled. It is expected that this will be able to provide the effective operation and management of the battery.
