The purpose of this study is to provide the data for the organization of the educational contents to the teachers and to put teeth in the effects of teaching and learning, by investigating the organization of contents about the astronomy field, a part of the earth science the textbooks and analyzing the connection between the educational contents of the one sequence grade and next sequence grade, in accordance with the common subject.Total 9 science textbooks, including astronomy contents, are used in this study; 4 of elementary school science(3rd grade∼6th grade), 2 of middle school science(8th grade, 9th grade), high school science(10th grade), earth scienceⅠ, earth scienceⅡ. And this astronomy contents in the science textbooks is divided by 13 commom subjects and analyzed about the connection between the educational contents of the one sequence grade and next sequence grade.The results of this study are as follows;1) The most connection category between the educational contents of the one sequence grade and next sequence grade in the astronomy contents in the science textbooks is 'development' in the exception of the connection among most of grades and earth science Ⅱ.2) In result of analysis on the extent of connection in each subjects, the subjects containing many connection category, 'development' are 'The rotation of the earth', 'The revolution of the earth', 'The characteristic of the planets', 'The motion of the inferior planet and outer planet', 'The characteristic of the star' etc.3) The most connection category among most of grades and earth science Ⅱ is 'gap'.4) In each subjet, most of connection categories are 'development' between the educational contents of the elementary school course and middle school course, between middle school course and 10th grade, between middle school course and 10th grade, between 10th grade and earth scienceⅠ.
