자유의 몽타주 = The montage of freedom

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 논문의 주된 목적은 자유 개념을 해체하면서 새로운 이미지로 재구성하기 위한 기초작업을 수행하는 것이다. 자유의 몽타주(montage)는 철학 텍스트와 현실 담론에 파편적으로 존재하는 알레고리들을 맥락에서 이탈시켜 무작위적으로 재배치하려는 일종의 에세이이다. ｢자유의 몽타주｣는 반지성주의적 자유가 확장되면서 오히려 사랑할 자유조차 위협받고 있는 현실에 주목한다.
｢자유의 몽타주｣에서 나는 반지성주의 정치의 이론적 뿌리를 <자연적 자유> 개념을 매개로 살펴본다(1). 나아가 나는 자유가 가능하기 위한 최소 조건인 타자가 체계적으로 추방될 수 있는 위험성을 인공지능에 대한 담론에서 찾아본다(2). 나는 타자의 추방이 생각할 자유, 경험할 자유, 인식할 자유만이 아니라 사랑할 자유까지 폐기한다는 점을 살핀다(3). 마지막으로 반지성주의 시대를 벗어날 출구를 상상한다(4).

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The main purpose of this paper is to carry out the basic work to reconstruct the concept of freedom into a new image. The montage of freedom is a type of essay that attempts to randomly rearrange allegories that exist fragmentarily in philosophical texts and real discourse by taking them out of their context. “Montage of Freedom” focuses on the reality that as anti-intellectual freedom expands, even the freedom to love is threatened.
In “Montage of Freedom,” I examine the theoretical roots of anti- intellectualist politics through the concept of “natural freedom”(1). Furthermore, I look for the risk of systematically expelling others, which is the minimum condition for freedom, in the discourse on artificial intelligence(2). I observe that the expulsion of the other abolishes not only the freedom to think, experience, and perceive, but also the freedom to love(3). Lastly, imagine a way out of the era of anti-intellectualism(4).
