      The purpose of this study was to examine adolescents' time management by the Enneagram as a personality types and to investigate causal relations among influencing variables and adolescents' time management by the Enneagram(which was divided into three types : Instinct Type, Feeling Type and Thinking Type).
      For these purposes, the data were collected by the questionnaire which was offered to 1,413 adolescents of middle school in Daejeon and Chungnam area.
      The statistical methods used for these purposes data were frequency, percentile, mean, t-test, F-test, one way ANOVA, Duncan's multiple range test, Pearson's correlation coefficient, multiple regressive analysis and path analysis.
      The results are as follows
      First, acoording to three patterns of adolescents' personality, such as Feeling type adolescents, Thinking type adolescents and Instinct type adolescents, it shows that the time planning ability of the Instinct type adolescents and Feeling type adolescents is higher than Thinking type adolescents' time planning ability. In case of evaluating ability, Feeling type adolescents' is highest, but Thinking type adolescents' is lowest.
      Second, in case of Feeling type adolescents, according to adolescents' demographics and family-environmental variables, time planning and evaluating ability of adolescents having college-educated mother are higher than adolescents having middle school educated mother. The implementing ability of male adolescents is higher than female adolescents, and the implementing ability of adolescents having father work as professional and engineer is higher than adolescents' implementing ability having father work in other areas.
      According to adolescents' demographics and family-environmental variables, the time planning ability of thinking type adolescents having college-educated mother and unemployed mother is higher than thinking type adolescents having middle school educated mother and employed mother. Also, the planning ability of adolescents having father work in professional and engineer is higher than adolescents having father work in other job. The evaluating ability of adolescents having college-educated mother are higher than adolescents having middle school educated mother.
      In case of Instinct type adolescents, according to adolescents' demographics and family-environmental variables, time planning ability of adolescents having college-educated mother are higher than them having middle school educated mother and female adolescents' time planning ability than male adolescents' ability.
      Third, the planning ability of Feeling type adolescents is directly affected by mother's influence on them. the implementing among Feeling type adolescents are affected by their gender, household economic level, time planning ability of them directly. And the evaluating ability of Feeling type adolescents is affected by their time constraints, time planning and implementing ability of them directly.
      In case of Thinking type adolescents, the planning ability is directly affected by mother's influence on them, mother's job, time constraints and household economic level and the implementing ability is affected by their gender, and time planning ability of them directly. Moreover, the evaluating ability of them is affected by their time constraints, time planning and implementing ability directly.
      In case of Instinct type adolescents, adolescents' gender has directly negative effect on their planning ability. However, adolescents' mother's influence and household economic level have directly positive effect on their planning ability. The implementing ability of them is affected by their gender and time planning ability of them directly, and the evaluating ability of them is affected by their age, time planning and implementing ability directly.
