The quantities which influence to the sensitivity of the accelerometer to be calibrated by the comparison method are reference accelerometer sensitivity, signal conditioner gain, measurement voltage, temperature, transverse motion, distortion and relative motion. As a parameter to represent the confidence of the sensitivity of the accelerometer, the uncertainty is used. The uncertainty of the calibration of the accelerometer to be calibrated is a function of the influence quantities mentioned above. The method of determining the uncertainties of the influence quantities and sensitivity of the accelerometer to be calibrated are explained.
