      다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)


      The purpose of this study was to identify the char characteristics of a dance unit and to suggest the basic resource to compile the physical education textbook effeiciently.
      According to the classification of a unit, Yim In Jae(1984 : 91) 5present dance units in the middle and high school were analysed by the grade, classification characteristics, and the class. The following results were drawn as follows :
      1. Terms or Concepts are arranged simply and the processes or procedures go into detail.
      2. Facts or principles on a dance are shortly mentioned.
      In accordance with the grade
      1. There are no differences between the grades.
      2. Upon the traditional dance, there are many esplanations on refacts in the first grade of a middle school.
      3. Upon the creative dance, there are so many explanations on ferms or concepts in the first grade of a middle school.
      4. Upon the creative dance, there are few explanations on terms or concepts in the first grade of a middle school.
      In accordance with the classitication characteristics
      1. Terms or concepts are enumerated excessively, and further more this condifion is mentioned especially in the textbook of a high school.
      2. The basic principles or laws on the traditional dance are negleeted.
      3. The more grade is high, the more concerns on the proced ures or processes of the traditional dance the are low.
      4. Upon the creative dance, the principles or laws of dance are stressed.
      5. As compared with the traditional dance, the terms or concepts in the creative dance are shortly enumerted.
      In accordance with the class
      1. There are no differences in the weighting value by classification characteris according to the class
      2. Upon a traditional dance, terms or concepts in the high school are explained excessively. Especially the simple arrangmats of the terms than conceptual definition are enumerated, and this occation parti curily comes foreign traditional dance
      3. Upon a creative dance, there are many explanations on the facts, and few explanations on the processes or procedures in the high school than middle school.
