이익집단 활동패턴의 다양성과 일치성: 대구광역시 이익집단을 사례로 = Diversity and Congruence of Activity Patterns in Interest Groups: A Case study of Daegu Metropolitan City

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This paper attempts to identify the activity patterns of interest groups on the policy process. It traces the characteristic of diversity and congruence resulting from activity patterns when they are considering policy problem with other policy actors or interest articulation activities in interest groups. To do this, we analyzes the interest groups of Daegu metropolitan city by utilizing the t-test as SAS 9.1.
This study finds out that differences exist between activity patterns of private interest groups(PRIG) and public interest groups(PUIG). The existences of differences in pattern are manifested not only in terms of issue consultant phase(IC phase) but also in terms of interest articulation activities phase(IAA phase). 1) The activity patterns of PRIG and PUIG scored poor on the diversity in the IC phase and IAA phase. 2) At the IC phase, PRIG scored higher on diversity index of activity pattern than PUIG, vice-versa at IAA phase. 3) The PRIG scored higher on congruence index of activity pattern than PUIG. Therefore, the PRIG has felt efficiency when it meet various policy actors on the policy process.
Thus, the PRIG must improve diversity of activity pattern by increasing contacts with various policy actors. In contrasts, the PUIG must promote diversity as well as congruence of activity patterns.
