『우리말샘』 등재어에 나타나는 강원 방언 혼종어의 조어 양상 = Aspects of Word Combinations Appearing in ‘Urimalsaem’s Kangwon Region Hybrid Words

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study aims to examine the compositional features of the Kangwon Region’s hybrid words, as documented in the ‘Urimalsaem’, a comprehensive Korean dictionary. Previous studies on hybrid languages mainly focus on standard word forms. However, this study focuses on external and internal combination patterns, and regional characteristics forms of hybrid words, and examines their differences from standard words. This study can be considered the first study which provides clearer numerical data and sample sentences about dialectal hybrid words.
As a result of the discussion in this paper, it can be confirmed the hybrid languages in the Kangwon region exhibit a variety of combinations among different language varieties externally. Although the dialectal hybrid words of the Kangwon region are the primary focus, this study also presents the overall linguistic patterns, reflecting the regional characteristics of the research subject.
This study can be helpful in regional language research and research on coinage by examining how dialectal hybrid languages are combined internally and externally.
We hope that this study will objectify the morphological characteristics of regional languages, and provide a satisfactory result in regional language research.
Furthermore, this study aims to contribute to the advancement of regional language research in the future.
