한반도 공룡발자국에 의한 백악기 공룡 생태 복원 기초 연구(1) : 수각류 공룡발자국 형태 연구

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 한반도에서 발견되는 조각류, 수각류, 용각류 등 다양한 공룡발자국 가운데 육식공룡 수각류 발자국 형태에 관한 연구이다. 본 연구를 위해 수각류 공룡발자국이 풍부하게 산출되고 보존상태 빛 보행렬이 잘 발달된 전남화순, 여수, 경남 고성 및 창녕의 네 지역이 선택되었고, 이들 지역에서 총96개의 보행렬을 대상으로 연구를 진행하였다. 네 곳의 화석지에서 산출되는 수각류 발자국의 형태는 대부분이 tridactyl, mesaxonic 형태의 발자국이 주를 이루고 있고 normal digitigrade posture 또는 elevated digitigrade posture의 보행 자세로 나타나고 있다. 발가락의 형태는 straight, tapered and curved digits 등 다양한 특정을 보이며, 드물게 hallux(뒷발가락이 있는)발자국이 보이기도 한다. 수각류의 전형적인 특징을 나타내는 날카로운 형태의 발톱자국(craw marks)을 쉽게 찾아볼 수 있다. 화순, 여수, 창녕에서는 소형 수각류가 주를 이루고 있으며, 고성 지역은 대형 수각류가 대부분이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This is a research on the types of theropod footprints from the Cretaceous of Korean peninsula. This study focuses specifically on theropod tracks and trackways. For this research four fossil sites with well-preserved theropod trackways in Hwasun, Yeosu, Goseong, and Changnyeong were collected. A total of96 trackways from these four sites were examined. The majority of the tracks were composed of mainly tridactyl and mesaxonic footprints, and normal digitigrade posture or elevated digitigrade posture. The digits vary in shape with straight, tapered or curved digits, and, though rarely, the first digit, the hallux, can be observed in some cases. Sharp claw marks were also easily observed. The tracks from Hwasun, Yeosu and Changnyeong consist of small-sized theropod's footprints with foot lengths shorter than 25 ㎝, while those from Goseong consist of large-sized theropod's footprints with foot lengths longer than 25 ㎝.
