R. Schumann 의「Violin Sonata No. 1 Op.105」의 분석 연구

국문 초록 (Abstract)

19세기 낭만주의는 문학에서 유래된 용어로 주관적인 감정이나 감상성을 중시하는 경향을 지칭한다. 이 시기는 오늘날의 음악문화와 가장 깊은 관련을 맺고 있으며 음악회, 오페라, 방송, 음반계 등 많은 부분이 19세기 음악에 의존하고 있다(홍정수 외,2003,P.252). 이 시대의 음악적 특징은 어원에서 찾아볼 수 있듯이 문학과 밀접한 관계를 가지고 있다. 19세기 낭만주의의 많은 작곡가들 중 특히 슈만(Robert Alexander Schumann 1810-1856)은 형식에 맞추는 음악보다는 각각의 예술작품의 의의와 형식을 중요하게 생각했다. 슈만의 음악작품들은 매우 서정적이고 감정적인 것이 특징인데 그의 작품 성향 역시 오늘날의 음악문화에 많은 영향을 주고 있다.
슈만의 작품 중 「Violin Sonata No.1 in a minor Op.105」는 1851년에 완성되었는데, 그가 이곡을 작곡할 당시의 상황은 정신착란의 증세가 점점 심해지고 있는 시기를 겪으며 홀로 자신과의 싸움을 하고 있었다. 이 작품은 그의 3개의 바이올린 소나타 중에서 첫 번째의 소나타로 제 3번 소나타에 비해서는 많이 연주되고 있다.
이 곡의 1악장과 3악장은 일반적인 소나타 형식의 특징이 부분적으로 변형된 소나타 형식으로 나타나고 있으며, 총 3악장인 이곡의 구성은 다음과 같다. 제 1악장은 알레그로 아파시오나토, a minor, 6/8박자로 되어 있으며 소나타 형식으로 이루어져 있다. 제 2악장은 알레그레토, F Major, 2/4박자로 되어 있으며 A-B-A-C-A 의 론도 형식으로 구성되어 있다. 제 3악장은 알레그로 콘 브리오, a minor, 2/4박자의 변형된 소나타 형식으로 되어있다.
이 논문에서는 문헌적으로 슈만의 생애와 작품, 바이올린 소나타 a단조가 작곡된 배경을 살펴보았고 작품 분석에서는 악보를 통하여 형식 및 구조, 선율 및 리듬 그리고 조성 및 화성을 연구하였다. 이를 바탕으로 연주상의 유의점에 대하여 연구하여 연주자들의 실제 연주에 도움이 되고자 한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

As the romanticism in the 19th century is the terminology that originated from literature, it designates tendency of emphasizing subjective emotion or sentimentality. This period has the deepest relationship with today's music culture. Many parts such as concert, opera, broadcasting, and recording industry are relying upon music in the 19th century(Hong Jeong-su et al., 2003,P.252). Musical characteristic in this period can be known the relationship with literature as being able to be found in etymology. Among many composers in the 19C romanticism, especially Robert Alexander Schumann(1810-1856) thought the significance and a form in each art work to be important rather than music in line with a form. His music works are characterized by being very lyrical and emotional. His work is also having great influence upon today's music culture.
Out of Schumann's works,「Violin Sonata No.1 in a minor Op.105」was completed in 1851. As for the situation at that time that he would compose this music, he was having a battle with himself alone while suffering the period of getting gradually serious in the symptom of a mental disorder. As this work is the first sonata among his three violin sonatas, it is being much performed compared to Sonata No. 3.
In this music, the characteristic in a general sonata form is being indicated in the partially-modified sonata form. Composition of this music, which includes totally 3 movements, is as follows.
The 1st movement is a sonata form of Allegro appassionato, a minor, 8/6 time. The 2nd movement is A-B-A-C-A of a Rondo form of Allegretto, F Major, 2/4 time. The 3rd movement is a modified sonata form of Allegro con brio, a minor, 2/4 time.
This study documentarily examined Schumann's lifetime and work, and the background that violin sonata A minor was composed. In the analysis of work, it researched into a form and structure, melody and rhythm, and tonality and harmony through a musical score. The aim of this thesis is to be conducive to musicians' actual performance by researching into notes in light of performance based on this.
