韓國保健所의 機構 및 機能에 對한 考察 = A Study on Organization and Function of Health Center in Korea

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study was carried out for three month, during July 1, 1966 to September 30, on type and classification, organization, and authority of sanction for 84 health centers throughout the country. The following conclusions were obtained.
1) In our country, there was still no unifying pattern on type and classification of the health center.
2) And also the unifying pattern was not found for the organization of the health center. For instance, the health center of the capital city of Seoul was organized of section and subsections (4 sections and 8 subsections) and other cities and counties were organized subsections which were composed one or five. And totally 16 names of subsection were given. Among the names of subsection, sanitaion (23%) was most frequently used, general affairs (16.6%) was in next, and health (12.4%) the third. Some of the health centers established one or three subcenters.
3) The items of the sanction which covered services of the health center were 197. The authority of sanction was as following : In a city health center(disrict). The health center officer performed (61.7%) mayor (26.9%) chief of section (11.9%), and chief of office (3.6%) However, in a county health center, performed the health center officer (62.6%), and the chief of county (31.6%)
4) Followingly, this study aimed one trial for typing and classification, unification of organization and authority of the sanction in the health center of our country.
