In this study we examined various factors and levels to develop high strength spacer. by using blast-furnace slag and analyzed those on the base of theory, to know why blast-furnace slag enhanced compressive strength of spacer having low water contents, such as void filling effect, optimum grading and pozzolanic reaction.
The conclusions of this study are following. It is possible to develop high strength spcer having 400㎏f/㎠ above compressive strength by using blast-furnace slag. And strength enhancement effects by blast-furnace slag are responsible to optimum grading and pozzolanic reaction of blast-furnace slag.
