전문대학 학사학위 전공심화과정 학습자의 학습동기와 등록 유인가, 자기효능감, 목표지향성 및 학업성패 귀인성향의 관계 = The Relationship between Learning Motivation and Enrollment Valence, Self-efficacy, Goal Orientation, Attribution for Academic Success and Failure of Learners in Bachelor's Degree Courses at Junior Colleges

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between learning motivation and enrollment valence, self-efficacy, goal orientation, and attribution for academic success and failure of learners in bachelor's degree course at junior colleges.
The population of this study was 7,058 learners of bachelor's degree course at junior colleges. The sampling was performed by department, considering ratio of major field of study.
The survey questionnaire was conducted to measure variables of this study. It was consisted of learning motivation scale, enrollment valence scale, self-efficacy scale, goal orientation scale, attribution for academic success and failure scale, and demographic items. The scales were selected from exiting scale by the researcher. Through pilot test and final survey, the reliability and validity of these scales were examined.
Major conclusions of this study were as follows: First, Learners' learning motivation were the average. Learners were not motivated in the proportion of ten to two. And statistical differences in gender, age, group of major, and perceived level to adapt to the college were identified. Second, their characteristics on enrollment valence, self-efficacy, goal orientation, and attribution for academic success and failure were positive in aspect of learning motivation. Third, enrollment valence, self-efficacy, mastery goal orientation, and performance- avoidance goal orientation are major variables which have effect on learning motivation. Forth, if learner perceives more enrollment valence on bachelor's degree course at junior colleges, and one's ability and focus learning itself, level of learning motivation will be high. The other hand, Learning motivation will be low if learner has tendency to avoid poor performance than others.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구의 목적은 우리나라 전문대학 학사학위 전공심화과정(이하 전공심화과정)에 등록한 학습자들의 학습동기와 등록 유인가, 자기효능감, 목표지향성 및 학업성패 귀인성향의 관계를 구명하는 데 있었다. 이 연구의 모집단은 2010년 3월 현재 전공심화과정에 등록한 모든 학습자 7,058명이며, 자료 수집을 위한 조사도구로는 질문지가 사용되었다. 자료 수집은 4월 25일부터 5월 30일까지 우편 및 방문 조사를 통해 이루어졌으며, 총 631부의 질문지가 배포되었고 이 중 385부가 회수되었으며, 최종적으로 총 370부가 자료 분석에 사용되었다. 자료 분석은 평균, 표준편차, 빈도, 백분율 등의 기술통계와 t검정, F검정, 단순상관분석, 중다회귀분석을 통해 이루어졌다.
이 연구로부터 얻은 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 전공심화과정 학습자는 보통 수준의 학습동기를 가지고 있으며, 10명 중 2명은 비교적 낮은 학습동기를 가지고 있는 것으로 나타났고, 성별, 연령, 계열, 대학생활 적응에 대한 인식 정도에 따라 학습동기 수준에 차이가 있었다. 둘째, 전공심화과정 학습자의 등록 유인가, 자기효능감, 목표지향성, 학업성패 귀인성향 특성은 학습동기 향상 및 제고의 측면에서 비교적 긍정적인 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 전공심화과정 학습자의 학습동기는 자기 스스로의 능력을 높게 인식할수록, 전공심화과정에 대한 등록 유인가를 높게 인식할 수 있도록, 수행보다는 학습자체에 초점을 둘수록 높아지는 반면, 타인과 자신의 학습 성과나 수행 비교를 통해 뒤떨어지는 것을 모면하려는 성향이 강할수록 학습동기가 낮아진다.
