-Centering Degree Creations(‘Poems’)-

This thesis is aimed that writer's degree creations(‘poems’) reveals allegory study. The works divided into animal allegory and plant allegory. They are showed that the image of animal and plant for human beings and life willpower which intend to superpose or most of the attached degree creations image of human beings' violence and overcome will. Considering as these points, I, writer analyzes the works by myself and through explaining them, I, writer intends to examine the existence consciousness which makes allegory which appears writer's 'poems'.
In the first chapter, I examined creation motive and background. Together acceleration of post-industry society, in the too heavy real situation of anxiety, identity, and of alienation consciousness, the poet composes poems, the action is a question of relationship of self and of world and can be a course which searches human existence through the question. At the same time writer's main concern is also investigation of human existence which searches essential, a question of world and of self and life through “poems”.
In the second chapter, I develop to examine the allegory which reveals in animal image. In these animal allegories, the allegory is shaped through the concrete object of will which gets out of human beings' violence. Like this, writer's animal image 'poem' is poetizing the truth which allegorical imagination. Therefore, the weak and the strong make images by the imagination with allegory peculiarity. This allegory is poetizing according to animal peculiarity by media of allegorical thought such as 'bird and trap', 'bird and wheel', 'teeth and grass', 'maggot and blue sky', and 'eagle-owl and chicken', and dichotomy planning of the weak and the strong appears. Also, as Sartre feels emesis not from internal 'emesis' but from around all things in his diary mode The Nausea(La Nausˊee), writer also feels in my'poems' the 'fear' at the moment which I recognize other's existence and external things. This fear allegory is composed with lack of freedom and incompletion, or difficult things of compromise. But among that antistandpoints, at the same time I am expressing the ascension desire which intends to rescue into eternity.
In the third chapter, I developed to consider as allegory which appeared in plant image. Plant allegory ,also, similarity of animal allegory the weak and the strong make images. But in the animal allegory is not showing life-will which overcomes pain and sorrow. The allegory is figuring with allegory of human shape which intends to cure wound and to live together. These phenomena's allegory is poetizing according to the plant peculiarity of allegorical thoght media such as crying and laughing, apple tree and larva, flower and claw and so on. If I felt 'fear' from recognizing if things and others among animal images, in the plant images, I feel sorrow and pain at the moment in recognition of things and others. This is a allegory of human pain and sorrow not which reveals violent and destructive allegory which appears animal images but which appears plant images. This allegory of pain and sorrow is expressing life-will, which is strong and sticky through 'grass' image and in the 'tree' image is figured with allegory which intends to cure wound and to live together through self-sacrifice.
Finally, the allegory which appears in writer's 'poems' avoids to divide into dichotomy logic which distinguishes from evil and good, and the strong and the weak. And writer makes clear essential and religious existence of existentialism which intends to live together through self-sacrifice.

본 논문은 필자의 학위 창작품(시)에 나타난 알레고리 연구를 목적으로 했다. 작품은 동물적 알레고리와 식물적 알레고리로 나누고 있다. 그것은 첨부한 학위 창작품 대부분이 인간 존재의 폭력성과 극복의지 또는, 상생을 지향하는 인간 존재와 생명의지를 동식물 등의 이미지로 보여주고 있기 때문이다. 이러한 점을 고려하여 필자 스스로 작품을 분석하고 해명해 봄으로써 필자의 ‘시’에 나타난 알레고리가 만들어낸 실존의식을 살피려는 의도를 담고 있다.
제Ⅰ장에서는 창작 동기와 배경을 살폈다. 후기 산업사회의 가속화와 더불어 정체성과 불안, 소외의식이 과중되는 실정에서 시인이 시를 쓰는 행위는 자아와 세계의 관계에 대한 질문이며, 그 질문을 통해 인간 실존을 찾아가고자 하는 과정이라 할 수 있다. 마찬가지로 필자의 주된 관심사도 ‘시’를 통해 자아와 삶, 세계에 대한 질문인 본질을 찾고자 하는 인간 실존의 탐구였다.
제Ⅱ장에서는 동물적 이미지에 나타난 알레고리를 살펴보는 것으로 전개했다. 이들 동물적 알레고리에서는 인간의 폭력성과 그것에서 헤어나려는 의지가 구체적인 대상을 통해서 알레고리로 형상화되어 있다. 이처럼 필자의 동물적 이미지 ‘시’에는 알레고리적 상상력을 통해서 새와 애벌레, 나비가 계시하는 진리를 시화하고 있다. 따라서 알레고리 특성상 약자와 강자가 상상력에 의해 이미지화되어 있다. 이러한 알레고리는 ‘새와 덫’, ‘새와 바퀴’, ‘이빨과 풀’, ‘굼벵이와 푸른 하늘’, ‘수리부엉이와 닭’ 등의 알레고리적 사유의 매개체가 동물적 특성에 따라 시화되고 있으며, 약자와 강자가 이분구도로 나타난다. 또한, 사르트르가 일기 형식인 『구토』에서 ‘구토’는 내부에 있지 않고 주위의 온갖 것들에게서 구토를 느끼듯이 필자의 ‘시’에서도 외부에 있는 사물과 타인의 존재를 인식하는 순간 ‘공포’를 느끼게 한다. 이러한 공포의 알레고리는 부자유와 미완성, 또는 화해하기 어려운 것들로 이루어져 있지만, 그러한 반립 속에서도 영원으로 구원하고자 하는 상승욕망을 동시에 표출하고 있다.
제Ⅲ장에서는 식물적 이미지에 나타난 알레고리를 고찰해 보는 것으로 전개했다. 식물적 알레고리 역시 동물적 알레고리와 마찬가지로 약자와 강자가 이미지화되어 있다. 그러나 동물적 알레고리에서는 볼 수 없는 고통과 슬픔을 극복하고자 하는 생명의지를 보이고 있으며, 상처 치유와 공생을 지향하는 인간의 모습을 알레고리로 형상화하고 있다. 이러한 현상들의 알레고리는 울음과 웃음, 사과나무와 애벌레, 꽃과 발톱 등의 알레고리적 사유의 매개체가 식물적 특성에 따라 시화되고 있다. 동물적 이미지에서 사물과 타인의 존재를 인식하는 데서부터 ‘공포’를 느꼈다면, 식물적 이미지에서는 사물과 타인을 인식하는 순간 슬픔과 아픔을 느낀다. 이것이 동물적 이미지에 나타난 폭력적이고 파괴적인 알레고리가 아닌 식물적 이미지에 나타난 인간의 고통과 슬픔의 알레고리다. 이러한 고통과 슬픔의 알레고리는 ‘풀’ 이미지를 통하여 끈질긴 생명의지를 표출하고 있으며, ‘나무’ 이미지에서는 자신의 희생을 통하여 상처 치유와 공생을 지향하는 알레고리로 형상화된다.
결국, 필자의 ‘시’에 나타나는 알레고리는 악과 선, 강자와 약자로 구분하는 이분법적 논리로 나누는 것을 피하고, 자신의 희생을 통하여 함께 共生하고자 하는 실존주의의 본질적, 종교적 실존을 지향하고 있음을 밝히고 있다.
