체육수업에서 교사의 사회적 지지와 동료의 관계성 지지가 학생들의 사회정서역량 및 회복 탄력성에 미치는 영향

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구의 목적은 체육수업에서 교사의 사회적 지지와 동료의 관계성 지지가 학생들의 사회정서역량 및 회복탄력성에 미치는 영향력을 규명하는데 있다. 이를 위해 J 지역 소재의 S 중학교에 재학 중인 학생 343명을 대상으로 교사의 사회적 지지, 동료의 관계성 지지, 사회정서역량 및 회복 탄력성 검사를 하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 23.0 프로그램을 사용하여 기술통계 분석, 신뢰도 분석, 상관 분석, 회귀 분석을 하였다. 첫째, 체육 교사의 사회적 지지와 동료의 관계성 지지는 학생들의 사회정서역량에 정적 관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 체육 교사의 사회적 지지와 동료의 관계성 지지는 학생들의 회복 탄력성에 정적 관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 연구결과를 통해 교사의 사회적 지지와 동료의 관계성 지지는 사회정서역량과 회복 탄력성에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 체육교사는 학생들의 사회정서역량과 회복 탄력성 향상을 위해 학생과 학생 간의 긍정적인 상호작용을 촉진할 수 있는 교수학습 전략을 마련해야 할 것이다. 또한 체육 교사는 과제 활동을 비롯하여 학생들의 수업 활동을 조직하고 운영하는 데 있어 동료와의 관계성을 고려한 교수학습 전략을 활용한다면 더욱더 학생들의 사회정서역량과 회복 탄력성을 향상시킬 수 있을 것이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Purpose: This study examines the impact of social support and peer relationship support of physical education teachers on students’ social-emotional intelligence and resilience. Methods: A survey evaluating teachers’ social support, peers’ relatedness support, and students’ social-emotional competencies and resilience was conducted in S Middle School in the J region, where 343 students are enrolled. Descriptive statistical analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and regression analysis were conducted on the collected data through the SPSS 23.0 program. Results: First, social support and peer relationship support of physical education teachers were positively related to students’ social-emotional intelligence. Second, social support and peer relationship support of physical education teachers were positively related to students’ resilience. The study showed that both teachers’ social support and peers’ relatedness support have positive effects on social-emotional competencies and resilience in the educational context. Conclusion: Physical education teachers will need to prepare a teaching–learning strategy that can encourage positive student-to-student interaction to improve students’ social-emotional intelligence and resilience. If physical education teachers use a teaching–learning strategy that considers peer relationships when organizing and managing assignments and class activities, students’ social-emotional intelligence and resilience will be further enhanced.
