There are none, I presume, except those who are blind from their infancy, whose eyes have not been enchanted, and whose hearts have not been captivated wit...
There are none, I presume, except those who are blind from their infancy, whose eyes have not been enchanted, and whose hearts have not been captivated with the splendor of the heavens, as they appear on a cloudless evening, just after the sun has sunk behind the western hills; the broad full moon floating in silent grandeur through the expanse of other, lighting up the earth and sky with her softened radiance, while the golden torch of "sea-born Venus," as that fairest and purest of heaven's orbs has been designated, is beaming with such resplendent luster, as if to surpass any of her sister stars in splendor; and there too are innumerable worlds gleaming like diamonds on the brow of night, ranged throughout the illimitable regions of space, all maintaining the same perfect harmony which they have preserved in ages long past, and which they will continue to maintain to the end of time.
