주택정원 조성시 이용 행태 및 속성분석을 통한 효율적인 디자인 방안-전남 나주시민(연령대)를 중심으로- = Effective Design Plan through Use Form and Property Analysis in Creating Housing Garden

This study tried to grasp preference and importance to garden development and management by age toward 337 people not owning gardens to total 20 regions divided to Naju-si Myeon-office and Dong-office (the former includes Nampyeong, Seji, Wanggok, Bannap, Gongsan, Donggang, Dasi, Munpyedong, Noan, Geumcheon, Sanpo, Daedobongwang and the letters includes Songwol, Yeonggang, Geumnam, Yeongsan, Seongbuk, Ichang, Bitgaram). Considerations in forming a housing garden are pleasantness, healthiness, naturalness and aesthetics and the twenties perceive more importantly convenience, the thirties independence, the forties familiarity and the fifties and sixties practicality. The purpose of using a garden is to take a rest, keep mind stable and grow food, what they want to do in a garden is break, growing plants and a kitchen garden. The high preference in the twenties, thirties was relaxing, the forties and fifties was growing plants and those over the sixties was growing a kitchen garden, which varied by age. The time structure for wished use of the garden was generally in the morning or before sunset and espcially, the forties and sixties showed a higher response to they would use that from time to time. Preference to the space composition of the garden was lounging space, food space and kitchen garde, among which the twenties and fifties liked resting space and the sixties liked kitchen garde space. They preferred a plant providing shade to the garden and a plant to view its flowers and provide fruits by season. In garden management, they predicted difficulties such as insect production, management cost and systematic management method. Also they demanded garden education on anti-pest control, planting garden plants and maintenance method, so it is held to put focus on insects and plant management.
