역사교과서를 매개로 한 역사교육 주체들의 스테레오타입(Stereotype) 분석을 위한 시론 = 역사적 스테레오타입연구(Historische Stereotypenforschung) 방법론의 적용

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 다음과 같다.
첫째, 역사교과서 분석의 새로운 대안으로서 역사적 스테레오타입 연구방법론을 도입하여 역사교과서를 매개로 한 역사교육 주체들의 편견과 고정관념의 실체를 파악하는데 있어서 이론적인 틀을 제공하는 것이다. 둘째, 이를 통하여 21세기 아시아ㆍ태평양 시대의 우호협력과 공동번영을 위한 역사 분쟁의 해결에 있어서 역사교과서 분석의 방법론적인 대안을 마련하는 것이다.
머리말에 이은 제2장에서는 스테레오타입의 정의를 일상 언어적, 사회학적, 사회심리학적, 언어철학적 개념으로 살펴보았으며, 제3장에서는 역사적 스테레오타입의 정의와 연구의 특징, 연구방법 및 연구현황에 대하여 다루었다.
제4장은 본 논문의 핵심적인 내용으로 역사교과서를 매개로 한 역사교육 주체들의 편견이나 고정관념을 파악할 수 있는 방법론적 대안을 제시하였다. 그 내용을 구체적으로 살펴보면 다음과 같다.
국가의 역사교육 정책에 미치는 여러 가지 요소들이 가지는 내재적 의미는 무엇인가, 교과서 집필자의 역사인식이 교과서 서술에 어떠한 형태로 나타나고 있으며, 그러한 집필자의 주관을 파악하는 도구는 무엇인가, 역사교과서의 내용분석에서 기존의 양적 분석, 질적 분석, 교과서 국제 비교분석 이외에 역사적 스테레오타입 연구 방법론을 적용한 분석방법에는 어떠한 것들이 있는가, 학교현장에서 역사교사의 인식 속에 내재된 스테레오타입을 계량화 할 수 있는 방법은 무엇인가, 피교수자로서 학생들의 스테레오타입을 파악하기 위한 기존의 사회과 태도조사의 한계와 그러한 한계를 극복할 수 있는 측정도구는 무엇인가 등이 연구자가 제시한 방법론상의 대안이라고 할 수 있다.
오늘날, 한ㆍ중ㆍ일 3국의 역사분쟁에 있어서 문제가 되고 있는 역사적으로 형성된 뿌리 깊은 상호 불신과 적대감, 타자에 대해 정형화 되고 부정적인 편견이나 고정관념은 동아시아 공동체의 상호 이해와 협력에 있어서 심각한 걸림돌로 작용하고 있다. 타민족의 역사와 문화를 편견 없이 이해하려는 태도, 역사적 사상(事象)에 대한 다양한 시각과 상이한 해석을 서로 받아들이고 이를 자신의 그것과 동등하게 인정할 수 있는 역사적 관용과 상대성을 포용할 수 있는 역사교육이 절실하게 필요하다는 점에서 본 연구가 일정 정도 기여할 수 있기를 희망한다. 아울러 이러한 방법론적 연구는 역사학과 역사교육의 테두리를 벗어나 교육학, 사회학, 심리학, 인지과학, 커뮤니케이션 이론 등 관련 학문과의 학제적 연구를 통해서 보다 정교한 이론으로 다듬어 질 수 있고, 다양한 사례연구가 담보될 수 있을 것이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study’s purpose is as follows.
First, it provides the theoretical paradigm while we understand the core of stereotype and prejudice of history educators being as medium of the history textbooks through the research methodology of the historical stereotype as a new alternative of historical textbooks analysis. Second, it makes the methodological alternative of history textbooks’s analysis in solving the history disputes for friendly cooperation and co-prosperity of APEC in 21c.
In second chapter after the preface, it is composed about studying the linguistic, social, socio-psychological, language-philosophical concept of the stereotype, the specific and detail contents are introduced about the research of current situation and methodology, the definition of the stereotype and the feature of the study in 3rd chapter. The 4th chapter directs the methodological alternative that can understand the stereotype or prejudice of the history educators who use the history textbooks as the medium thing while considering the core contents of these studies.
The follows are the detail specifications. What is the intrinsic meaning by some factors that influences to the policy of the national history education? What is the tool that grasp the writer’s subject and which form is made for the description by the historical recognition of textbook writers? Which things are composed in the applied analytical method with the historical stereotype research methodology besides international comparison analysis of textbooks, the existing quantity and quality analysis in history textbooks analysis? What is the way to make the intrinsic stereotype in recognition of the history teachers in the fields of schools to quantity system? What is the measuring tool to overcome the such limit to be an existing social and attitude for understanding the stereotype of the students as the learners? All those above things can be the alternative that researcher showed it in the methodology.
The stereotypes like the negative prejudice and the formatted one against others and the deep-rooted distrust and enmities to be made historically then these are the serious problems in the understanding with each others and the cooperations of the three countries among Korea, Japan and China. I hope that this study will help some what in the part of being needed for the history education to embrace the relativity and admitother’s historical generosity as same as one of themselves with each others through accepting the different analysis and the many angles against the historical events and attitude to be understood without the prejudice about their history and culture.
These studies will be the guarantee and can be trimmed to the sophisticated theory through the academic study with the relative studies like pedagogy, sociology, psychology, cognitive science, communication being far away from the circle of the history education and studies.
