복합건축물 단지 야간경관의 공간성 표현 연구 = A Study of Spatiality Expression in Nightscape of Mixed-use Buildings Complex

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Nightscape design is the process of forming the structural space order by light according to the function and purpose of urban space. And spatiality expression through the lighting play is the procedure of forming three-dimensional space order base on the relationship between space and user. This study tries to find way to improve problems of indiscreet lighting design ignoring the spatial characteristics of nightscape of mixed-use buildings complex, and presents spatiality expression in nightscape as way to improve above mentioned problems. That is forming the three-dimensional space order corresponding function and characteristic of space by three-dimensional nighting. The results show that the important lighting methods for spatiality expression in nightscape are the spacial expression by light distribution, the expression of limited space and extended space by luminance distribution and contrast, the expression of spatial direction by rhythmical lighting shapes, and the expression of diverse meanings on the surface by darkness and brightness. These spatiality expressions and methodologies of lighting design in mixed-use buildings complex systematize psychological and physical activity level for users, and make the relationship to build aesthetic context between light and space.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

야간경관디자인은 도시공간의 기능과 목적에 따라 빛에 의해 구조적 공간질서를 형성하는 과정이며, 조명연출을 통한 공간성 표현은 공간과 이용자의 관계성을 바탕으로 입체적 공간질서를 형성하는 절차이다. 본 연구에서는 복합건축물 단지 야간경관의 공간적 특성을 배제한 무분별한 조명연출의 문제점을 인식하여 개선 방안을 찾고자 하였다. 그 방안으로 야간경관에 있어 공간성 표현을 제안하였으며 이는 도시공간의 어두움으로 인한 평면적 공간을 입체적 조명연출을 통해 공간감을 강화하고 3차원적 공간질서를 구축하여 그 곳의 기능과 특성을 극대화하는 것이다. 조명연출을 통한 공간성 표현의 의미와 특성, 디자인 방법을 모색하여 대규모 복합건축물 단지 사례분석을 통해 그 현황을 파악하고 결과로 공간성 표현을 위한 조명연출 방법을 도출하였다. 조명연출 방법은 배광분포의 부피감을 통한 영역적 공간성 표현 방법, 휘도분포와 대비를 통한 한정적 공간성과 확장적 공간성 표현 방법, 빛형상 동률을 이용한 공간적 방향성 표현에 의한 조명연출, 그리고 회명을 통한 표면물성의 다의적 표현 방법이다. 이와 같은 공간성 표현의 개념과 그 조명연출 방법은 복합건축물 단지 이용자의 심리적 · 물리적 활동 정도와 범위를 체계화하고 빛과 공간과의 관계성에 대한 미학적 문맥을 구축할 것으로 사료된다.
