대학생의 사이버범죄피해가 가해에 미치는 영향에서 일반긴장이론의 검증과 그 성별차이

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 사이버범죄피해의 사이버범죄가해에 미치는 영향을 Agnew의 일반긴장이론을 통하여 검증함에 있어, 그 성별차이를 중심으로 살펴보고자 한다. 이에 첫째, 사이버범죄피해의 사이버범죄가해에 대한 영향력에 성별차이가 있는지, 둘째, 사이버범죄피해가 남녀에 따라 서로 다른 부정적 감정의 매개과정으로 사이버범죄가해에 영향을 미치는지, 그리고 셋째, 사이버범죄피해가 여러 다른 조절변인들로 낮은 자기통제력, 비행친구유무, 도덕적 신념과의 상호작용으로 사이버범죄가해에 영향을 미치는데 있어 성별차이가 있는지를 살펴본다. 서울 소재 대학생 763명을 조사한 결과, 사이버범죄피해가 사이버범죄가해에 미치는 영향에서 남녀차이가 없었고, 부모긴장, 학업긴장, 친구긴장은 남녀에 따라 서로 다른 부정적 감정으로 화와 우울을 통해 사이버범죄가해에 미치는 영향에서 차이를 보였으나 사이버범죄피해 경험은 부정적 감정의 매개없이 남녀 모두에서 사이버범죄가해에 직접적인 영향력을 나타냈다. 사이버범죄피해와 조절변인들의 사이버범죄가해에 미치는 상호작용효과에서 남성의 경우는 도덕적 신념이 유의미한 상호작용효과를 나타냈지만, 여성은 낮은 자기통제력 및 비행친구유무가 상호작용효과를 나타내 남녀가 차이가 있음을 제시했다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study seeks to to verify the effect of cyber victimization on cyber offending by Agnew’s general strain theory and its gender difference. First, this study tests the effect of cyber victimization on cyber offending across genders. Second, it tests whether this effect is mediated by different emotions across genders. Third, it tests the interactional effects of cyber victimization with low self-control, delinquent peers, and belief on cyber offending. Using data taken from 763 university students in Seoul, the results indicate that cyber victimization has a direct effect on cyber offending in both males and females, even though the strain from parents, school, and peers was seen as having indirect positive effects on offending by different negative emotions across genders. In addition, it is revealed that there are gender differences in the interactional effects of cyber victimization with other moderator variables. The results show that cyber victimization and belief have a significant interactional effect in males, while there are significant interactional effects of cyber victimization with low self-control and delinquent peers in females.
